I know there's gonna be a lesson somewhere, I'm gonna think a lot about it later

But right now I'm miles away

Day 5: Sarah Tours London
iu party!

Today we had a bus tour of the City of London and the area.  Neat to see everything.  Tower, St Paul's, Parliament, Piccadilly Circus, etc.  Also did a very quick highlights tour of the British Museum AND saw The Merry Wives of Windsor at the Globe Theatre!!  The play was soooo cool!!  We had the standing tickets, which was a little rough, but we were leaning against the stage!! Very neat!!

I asked one of our leaders today if they do anything for 7 July, like a moment of silence or a flags at half staff or anything.  She said that they don't make a big deal out of it.  I guess it was pretty recent, but she didn't think they did anything special.  She said they were used to it.  That made me sad.  She did say that the WWII bomb they've found in the tube is a big deal because people, even young people feel more affected by the blitz.  Obviously, they would.  Just interesting to me, I guess.

Hm, bedtime.

...It's hard to try to live life in two places at once.  I still think of myself as a Bloomington citizen and check their news everyday online.  I haven't yet made the transition to living in London and London alone.  It's weird.
